Default How do I tactfully tell my friend that her dd is too big for the RA?

I'm babysitting today and she gives me the RA for her daughter.

She's too tall. Her head is just over the top of the shell.

I switched B into the RA today and put her dd in the MA so I would feel better driving them around.

But I have to tell her. I know they own a MA so maybe this is the spare....

HELP!!

Well...are her shoulders above the top slots? Are the tops of her ears even with the top of the seat shell? Is she over 40 pounds? Those are the three ways to outgrow it...so maybe you have a couple months to work her into the idea of a new harnessed seat for a spare :)

I didn't notice where she was in relation to the top slots. I know they are on the highest setting. The tops of her ears aren't quite there. Not sure on the weight--she's definitely heavier than my peanut (who is still RF!)

I'll find a way to say something....she has #2 on the way (due in Dec), so hopefully the RA will be handed down soon.

Okay,

I asked her if it was the seat for her car or the spare for DH's car. It was hers. :(

She then acknowledged before I really said anything that her DD is getting too big for it. I know her DH has a MA in his car, so I suggested moving that one over, but she said something about a booster (!) instead. She said she already bought one. :(

Maybe I can still convince her to get another MA or a Regent instead. We'll see.

Belt positioning booster, or harnessed booster? Maybe she got a Cargo or Generations...oh well, we can hope for you...

A BPB, I'm sure.

She mentioned something about an Eddie Bauer and I cringed and she said she brought it back b/c it sucked. So I'm not really sure what she has now.

We are becoming more close, swapping babysitting and the like, so maybe I can still get through to her. :)
