I have a two and a half year old that I need to get a second car seat for. She's 28 pounds and 37.25 inches tall at last check. Her main seat is a Marathon but we need a second seat for her father's car. The Marathon doesn't fit well in his car and since we have two others in boosters that need to fit around her it's just not going to happen! We need something wih a narrow enough base that the five year olds can buckle in too. We looked at the Graco SafeSeat toddler seat today and she liked that, said it was very comfortable. It looks like the seat was higher and would make buckling easy. The twins are in turbo boosters if that helps. Dh has a 2000 Ford Contour. We'll also be heading to Florida next month and would prefer not to travel with the Marathon if possible. We've rented a Chrysler Pacifica for the trip and need to fit the three girls in there too.
So aside from the Graco SafeSeat (would it even work??) what other seats have tall slots and are narrow enough that we're not going to be missing skin after buckling up the twins? Thanks, Jennifer |

The Graco Cargo is very narrow, but it sits low, so it may not be good to buckle next to. I would try that first.

Thanks, I ended up buying another roundabout. The safeseat didn't fitin the car, or my van for that matter. And she refused to sit in anything but the safeseat or the roundabout. But on the upside I found two Parkways on clearence in Tiffany and bought them for the twins. They like them a lot more than the turbobooster.
