Default Can I fit a BV, RA, & SIV across in my Toyota Highlander?

Or will I be buying a minivan soon?

We have the regular 2-row Highlander (the 3 row came out the following year) and I've been assuming I won't be able to fit a Boulevard, Roundabout, and Stay-in-View (infant seat).

But perhaps someone can tell me I'm wrong? I'd love to be, because I'd rather wait and buy the 2007 model yr Toyota Sienna when the 2008s come out, rather than being forced to buy it this August.

Well, try! :D You already have all three seats, right? And it's a roomy-ish back seat, and you can't beat the SIV for narrowness...but you might be hunting down a Radian for your next seat, since it's the three converitbles or 2 convertibles and a booster that'll be a real headache, potentially.

My vote is yes, they should fit (I hope I'm right!)

Thanks Julie! We don't have the BV yet (waiting on the tax return to order it) so I haven't tested it out.

It does seem like it will be difficult to swing the infant seat over another carseat into the middle row, though...

Ah, but you would't WANT to put the baby in the middle...the most protected child goes in the least protected spot, so a rearfacing kid should always be put in the window seat when possible. Maybe you want to look at a Radian before you order the Boulevard, in that case?

Thanks for that info, I never thought of it that way -- I was thinking more along the lines of the child with the least developed skeletal & muscular system should be most protected. But what you say makes sense.

Thanks!
