Default Front Tethering my New Boulevard in a Pilot

The wait for the CPS techs to install my seat was about two hours today, so my husband went about it alone (don't worry, I will have it rechecked sometime this week by a tech). We can't seem find where to hook the front tether to the back of the passenger seat. Is it just somewhere underneath? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You are talking about a RF tether? If so there is a plastic cover that goes over all the mechanisms under the seats, if you just give it a bit of a tug it will come off (can click back into place when you no longer need it), underneath there is a horizontal metal bar that is bolted to the car. Put the tether connector strap on that and you should be good to go. I had this checked at a car seat check, at first they said no not to use it but when I asked if they could check as it was a metal non moving bolted part they got a supervisor who said it was ok.

Hope that makes sense, let me know if not and I could try and get some photos.

As long as he didn't use LATCH in the center position and it's moving less than an inch at the belt path, or the LATCH is twangy tight, then it's probably quite safe (just so you can feel good about your own work without an official check up :) ).

Debsten, if you could take pictures, that'd be great, I can have them added to the newer rf tether page if you like, too (I don't have a link, but I can forward it on to the person with the page).

Thanks so much. We found it and now it's tethered.
