Default I think my Graco TurboBooster may be broken : (

I've noticed that if I push down on the headrest on our Turbo it will slip down in height even if I'm not pressing the red button/handle thingy. Do all of them do that? Can someone check for me? Just push down on the top and see if it slips down. Is this a safety concern? My DD might be able to pull it down on her own, or could it slip in an accident?

Default RE: Graco TurboBooster Headrest -- possible problem

Anyone willing to press down on their headrest? Sorry to nag. I've just been spoiled by the 2 minute responses I often get here! Also, I'm really nervous that our seat may be defective. Thank you!!!

Have you made sure the buttons/nubs are fitting properly into the holes on the back of the headrest seat track? (when you squeeze the handle it pulls the nubs in so they can move freely past the holes, then the nubs pop back into the holes). But honestly, it shouldn't be happening, I'd just return it to the store rather than deal with Graco... (and If there are no nubs and you can't figure out what I'm talking about, then *I'm* the moron, because I haven't looked closely at our Turbo, which lives in Hawaii with Grandma, lol)

I've examined the back of it. It has grooves that this plastic part fits into to hold it. When you push on the handle, it pushes out the plastic part so that it can slip down. With mine, any downward pressure causes it to slip. I'm going to go to Babies R Us today to see if the floor models are the same. Do you really think I could return it after almost a year? They don't even make that fabric anymore. I'm shameless though. I'll do it if I have a shot!

I've heard of crazier returns, lol...but I figured you just bought it, so ignore me :D. Might go ahead and contact graco on the off chance it's still a warrantee issue... :)
