Default Is there an advantage to keeping little one in Snugride?

DD was a preemie, now 8 months old and about 12 1/2 pounds. She still rides well in her Snugride and I suppose will fit in it for quite a while. I do want to get a Britax seat for her and since the sale this week is terrific, perhaps get one now. BUT since she is so small is there an advantage to keeping her in the Snugride as long as possible? I don't want to get the Britax seat now (but oh, the deal!)and not end up needing to use the seat for many months down the road. Would it make sense to keep her in the Graco and only purchase the Britax when she is "ready" for it (size-wise or psychologically)?

Thanks

Amy

The only advantage is your convenience. If you hate carrying her in the snugride, then jump on that Britax deal :). I'd say jump on it anyway, it's a good deal.
