I bought a Combi 6510 at the beginning of June. One of the wheels has since broken off. I'm looking into new strollers. I'm deciding between the Plikomatic and the Combi Savvy Z. I like the idea of being able to use the infant seat with the Pliko but how long will I continue that? I also will be doing a fair amount of airplane travel. Does anyone have experience with these strollers?

I have the Pliko Sherpa Bubble and I love it. It is a very comfortable stroller that folds up compactly and is proving to be very durable. While the Savvy Z has some nice features, it seems to be kind of small for a growing toddler. I have also heard of similar quality problems with this stroller, too. Good luck with your decision!

I agree with the above post. Go with the Pliko. The Plikos seem sturdier than the Combis, and larger toddlers can outgrow the Combi Savvys. After test driving both, I went with the Pliko.
The length of time that you use the infant seat depends on your child. I used it for 9 months (towards the end of that time, I only used it as a carseat and not a carrier), but I have a friend who could only use it for 4 months. It depends on the birthweight of your child, how quickly your child puts on weight, and the height and weight limits on the carseat. If you plan to have another child, you can still use the Pliko with your infant carrier. |

We have both the Pliko and the Savvy Z. We use the Pliko most, since our baby is still in his infant seat. It is an outstanding stroller. Once he is a little bigger, we will start using the Savvy Z more, since it is so lightweight.
We've traveled with the Pliko, and gate checked it, and will likely travel with the Savvy Z once he outgrows his infant carrier. They are both excellent strollers. |
