Default Combi Perfect Match System 6610 and Peg Perego Venezia Should I Get Both??

LAST EDITED ON Jul-20-01 AT 03:03AM (Mountain)[p]Hello. I purchased the Combi Perfect Match system 6610 from babystyle.com. I am still waiting for it to come. I hear so many good reviews on the message boards about Peg Perego Venezia and now am considering to get this one as well. I am a first time soon to be mommy and confused with all the options available. Would it benefit me to get both? I plan to use the Combi stroller as a travel system. Any advice from the "expert" mothers would be gladly appreciated :D

LAST EDITED ON Jul-20-01 AT 08:25AM (Mountain)[p]Unless you just want two strollers, the Combi should be fine. Actually, either one would be fine. Both can be used from birth, and both can be used as travel systems. I don't know how the weight of the strollers compares (something that you might want consider), but they fold similarly.

Both brands are high quality, although you might find some opinions about which stroller people prefer. In general (ignoring the price differences), after looking at Combis and Pegs, I prefer Pegs. They just seem sturdier.

Functionally, the two strollers seem very similar. So if you want to save money, just buy one. If you just need two strollers, you might want to look at one that is different functionally, such as umbrella-type strollers which are lighter weight and have compact folding. For high-quality umbrella strollers, look at the Peg Perego Plikos, the lightweight Combi Savvys, and the Maclarens.

I hope that helps!

I agree with the previous reply. Unless you just want two strollers, just get one of these. I personally have the Combi 6610 and love it. It works great with my infant car seat and is light weight and easy to fold. Hope this helps!

I too was trying to decide the exact two strollers you mentioned. I ended up buying the Venezia since I found it for almost half off online. I think either is a great choice, but I agree with the other posts, you probably only need one.

My daughter is now almost 5 months old. I am just now wishing I had a second stroller for walking/jogging. My suggestion would be to stick with the Combi for a while. The first few months you may not find yourself out much anyway. Then, as you and the baby explore activities outside the home more, make your choice. You may find you need a nice umbrella stroller, jogger, start looking at double options for down the line if you plan to try again within a year, or find that the Combi will meet all your needs for the months to come.

BTW, congratulations!
