Default Combi Urban Sling

I am very interested in the Combi Urban Sling diaper bag. I have a question for those that have it. Do you know if it accomodates Avent bottles? I have no way of seeing the bag unless I purchase it since no store here carries it and I need to order it on-line.I just don't want to go through the hassle of ordering it if it doesn't fit the Avent bottle. I just love this bag so I hope it does :)

Keeping my fingers crossed,

I have this bag and I ADORE it. It is a wonderful bag, just the right size for me. I also love that I can get to all my stuff without having to dig around inside the bag. It will hold one Avent (8 oz.) bottle in the insulated area, but it is a tight fit.

HTH,

Whew! As long as it fits in there, I will be ok. I am planning on using this as my everyday bag. If I am going to take a long car trip or if I am going somewhere for the day, then I will use the Land's End Do it All or the Deluxe. Thanks for the reply and the good news :)

I've got another question re:the Combi Urban Sling. Does the outer flag close with velcro or with a snap? Velcro isn't my favorite...but I've heard just wonderful reviews of this diaper bag that maybe I could learn to live with it!

Thanks for the info.

Just got my Urban Sling last week in the silver color. I was happy to find something other than black for a change of pace (I also own the black Gap backpack).

There are two strips of Velcro to close the flap- one on each of the inner pockets. In this case, Velcro is nice because it allows you to close the flap tighter if you are travelling light or a bit looser to allow for more stuff inside.

The outer flap does close with velcro. I know what you mean about the velcro, but I have never found this to be a problem, The way the bag is made, most of your stuff is in the main pocket, which is accessible without lifting the flap (which I LOVE). The only thing i keep in the 2 pockets under the flap are my diapers (in one pocket) and wipes container (in the other pocket). This works for me.

Could someone let me know if this diaper bag would look appropriate on a man? I really like messenger/sling style bags and would really like to be able to use this one if it doesn't look out of place on me. Thanks!

My husband carries it all the time. He doesn't think it is too "feminine". But something like the Eddie Bauer messenger bag may be more to your liking.
