Default OK instead of tandem how about a SBS?

I recieved a couple of posts about tandems in my last post and I thank you who responded! Maybe you are right that I should be searching for a SBS. Ok, then lets start again. I will ahve a 19month old (not to mention my 4 and 11 year old) and a newborn making his arrival in January.I do not want to spend a fortune on a stroller since after having 4 boys(this being my last) I have gone through 4! Thanks for any advice!

Default RE: OK instead of tandem how about a SBS?

I am not yet in need of a double but will be in about a year most likely... but I have some friends that are searching and have looked/asked around for them quite a bit! If you really don't want to spend a lot of money there are plenty of Graco Duolites on sale on E-bay.... for 100 or less! If you want to spend a little more have a look at the Peg Perego Aria Twin... I asked a woman on the street a little while ago and she had nothing but GOOD things to say about her stroller.... SHE LOVED IT! nice recline for baby and toddler, enough space for both kids, good storage basket, front bar for added protection and a place to put a stroller toy/snack bar, decent hood, she said is steered well even with the different weights of children and best of all it fit easily in the trunk of her honda civic!!!! I urged our friends to have a look at it.... I saw some on e-bay as well for 230... a bit more but may be worth it for the durability... as double strollers take double the abuse! Other than that I'm sure other will tell you to have a look at either the Mac Twin Traveller or the Mac Opus Duo.... if you like maclarens and want to spend the money... My son doesn't care for the seat on Macs! The mian thing with SBS strollers is to be sure they will fit through a doorway! Good Luck!
