Default Stroller Help

I am expecting my first in Feb. and I'm having a stroller dilemma. I was planning on going with the Metrolite Travel System since it seemed so convenient. Then, I saw the Combi Perfect Match stroller and I'm considering that as well. Does anyone have opinions on either of these options? I've also considered going with a Snug Ride and the Snap n Go or Kolkraft. I'm looking for affordabilty, durability, and convenience and would appreciate any tips - even for brands that I haven't thought of. Thanks!

Here's a vote for the Kolcraft!!! I loved it and it bought me time to figure out what features I actually needed and wanted in a stroller. I know there are concerns about leaving a baby in a carseat for too long, but in the first few weeks after giving birth, I wasn't exactly doing marathon errand-running. By the time I was ready to take walks and go out for longer periods of time, I had a better sense of what I needed, stroller-wise. So I think the Kolcraft is a great way to start! HTH...

We love the Combi Perfect Match so much we bought a second for Grandma. It is reasonably priced, reasonably durable, and has a lot of features that allow you to use it alone from the start and for a long time after you would be done with a travel system.

We used the SnugRide with ours and it worked great. One word of caution though on Graco: their customer service people stink. (I tried to get the extender straps so that dd could actually be strapped in the seat with her winter coat on and was subjected to the third degree. The customer "service" person even went so far as to tell me that there was something wrong with my dd's rate of weight gain and that she should see a doctor, unless I was lying to her. So, I no longer recommend that anyone buy Graco products.)

Good luck!
