Hi all! We are the two Los Angeles based mom's who started Rockin' Baby Slings about a year ago because we loved wearing our babies, but couldn't find any fashionable, hip slings to wear them in back then. We just read the message board regarding our slings. We appreciate any feedback, good and not so good, and wanted to address a few points people had brought up.
The slings in the photos on our website are all being worn by friends and their children, and a couple of friends of friends, who actually use slings. They are wearing the slings how they are comfortable in them. The babies and children are all positioned safely and securely in the slings. The rings are often worn lower on men who don't have to worry about breast tissue getting in the way, and lower, nearly between the breasts on mom's who are carrying heavier children. Our fabrics are all pre-washed linens, that are very high-quality, beautiful, durable and breathable. None of them are bulky, though there are some variations in the thickness of the different colors. Each sling also has unique and cool trim on it, and some have patches as well. We still produce the slings in fairly small runs, and as of yet are unable to lower our own costs. All of our slings are professionally sewn on industrial machines. They are manufactured here in L.A., by another small, women owned business, both caringly and carefully. We currently ship via UPS, and because of how Paypal is set up, have to set a median shipping fee. We both believe in baby wearing, and in the fact that moms and dads should be able to look great doing it. Thanks for giving us a forum in which to respond to comments. We both think it is important to hear what people think about our product, and find ways to address those issues. Please feel free to send us questions or comments directly at feedback@rockinbabysling.com. We will get back to you right away. Thank You, Lisa & Natasha http://www.rockinbabysling.com |
