Default Anyone in MD area have a Graco Quattro they want to get rid of?

After a long search for a "mall-crawling, park and outdoors stroller", I've come to the conclusion that I'm just not going to find what I want in a "good" brand name. So I've looked at the other ones, and I think what will work best for us is a Graco Quattro. Easy right, just go buy one. Yeah, but have you seen the hideous color combo it comes in at BRU? Heatwave or something, and I'm sorry to anyone who likes it, but it hurts my eyes! However, I LOVE the Blueberry and Kenbrook patterns that are only offered in the travel system.

SO! If anyone out there in the Maryland area, or nearby has a gently/barely used Quattro in Blueberry or Kenbrook that you'd like to be free of, PLEASE contact me privately, I'm interested! I would like to see pictures of it's condition before commiting to anything, and you can use my zip code, 21157, to see how far away you are from me. Just the stroller retails for $100, so please let me know what *you* think the stroller is worth used. Thanks in advance!!

Edited to add that I prefer BLueberry to Kenbrook, but will consider anything to avoid the "Heatwave" pattern!

Although not really a "cheap" route have you considered seeing if graco could sell you the other fabric set you like better?

An extra for while the main is in the wash prehaps? :)

GL!

Hi Pamela, thanks for your thoughts!

Nope, I haven't even bothered with Graco because I don't have a lot of money to throw around in stroller shopping right now, and I'd rather just get it all over with, lol! I've spent SO MUCH time on this dilemma...I was literally sitting at work all day yday debating between the Volo I just bought on clearance over the weekend, and the London, which I think is going to end up working better for me. ARG, it's just hurting my head thinking about it again!

lol, I was going to offer mine, but it's in Heatwave! I get a lot of compliments on it. I personally wanted anything but navy blue!! I really would LOVE a red stroller!! Someday...:)

Have you looked at the patterns at Burlington Coat Factory (also known as Baby Depot)? You can look at the patterns and stores which carry them at http://www.gracobaby.com/products/su...=44+56&act=A20, click on the model you like and then click the Where to Buy tab. Nice of Graco to include that!

Some of the patterns are available at "independent retailers," which may mean stores like USA Baby or Buy Buy Baby. I know there is a Buy Buy Baby in Rockville, MD. Possibly others on the board could give you the names of other baby specialty shops in Maryland, which often have select Graco and Eveflo strollers in different patterns.

Finally, once you get your Quattro, send a review in here. I'm sure many others will be debating whether to buy one. THey interest me, but I'm not in the market for a single stroller right now.

Walmart has the Quattro in "navy diamond" print for $85 if it is of any interest to you ...

Albee Baby has the "Laura" baby classics print for $119 with free shipping ... http://store.yahoo.com/albee-baby/grbaclquto71.html

If you do a search on epinions.com - you can get a list of the on-line retailers who sell this stroller and how much they charge ...

A new "blueberry" seems to only come as a travel system ...

Good Luck

Thanks for all your input ladies! I did call the BBB in Rockville a few days ago, and they said they have it in "navy diamond", so I'm going to check that out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the BLueberry, so I'm hoping it will be similar enough that I'll like it. I'm also heading back to BRU this weekend to return the clearance Volo in favor of a London (in RED!!!!). I'll post reviews of both once I have them and use them a bit. Thanks again for your help!

Jessica,

Why are you getting rid of your Volo? Just wondering. The London was pretty nice but DS's feet hit the wheels instead of the foot rest. Plus, the weight limit was lower on the London than the Volo. Which BRU? I'm interested in the Volo and should go there and buy it from them, as long as it is on clearance again :)

Hi Wendy,
Well, the Volo came from the Catonsville, MD BRU, they had mine (NIB) and the floor model, and both were 15% off, I paid $84.90 + tax. I have a 16 m/o DS, who is 22ish pounds and around 30 inches tall. He has an average length torso and short legs, and in strollers, it does make a difference. I'd wanted the Volo for a quite a while, whether it was out of need or just to get the popular stroller, beats me. But I found it marked down, so took it as a sign and bought it. Got it home, played with it a bit, and just decided that it doesn't fit my needs. Don't get me wrong, it's a GREAT awesome stroller. But I just feel that Lucas needs a recline, and I want the canopy/hood. I like the London for it's bright colors (oh so shallow, lol!), the removeable hood, adjustable legrest, recline positions, tall comfy handles, etc. All the things I like about the Volo, pretty much, but WITH a recline, included hoos, and a smaller price tag. I know the weight limit on the London is 33 or 35, and Volo is 40 (and the Baby Trend ETs are 45!), but as DS is still so small, it doesn't worry me as much. By the time he's outgrowing the London, I'll get another Volo, LOL!
