Default Help - Mac Quest or Pilkomatic

I desperately need help - need to make a decision today between 2003 Mac Quest and Pilkomatic as I need to have it shipped by the time we leave for our upcoming vacation. Anyone have advice as to which they like better? Also, what is the main differnce between the Pilkomatic and P3?

Thanks for your help!

I have the 2003 Quest. It's a fabulous lightweight stroller that folds compactly and is a dream to steer. The Pegs are a bit plusher and sturdier but also bulkier. Lots of people on these boeards love them. It really depends how you are going to use your stroller on your vacation.

They both really have their strengths and weaknesses. I have a Pliko and have been researching the Quest to purchase as a mall-only stroller.

What I like about my Pliko:
- Plush Seat with several recline settings
- Fun fabric
- 5-point restraint that allows DD to sit forward and still be restrained
- Napper Bar - DD likes to prop her feet up on it plus I can attach toys to it
- Knobbier wheels handle broken sidewalks OK (not great but better than a Quest I would imagine)

What I don't like about my Pliko:
- Steering - especially at the mall, seems to steer like a battleship!
That's the only con I can think of but it's a BIG one.

I like the Quest because it's a bit smaller and the steering is AWESOME (I test drove one IRL at BRU). Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine using it outside as much if you're not going to be on smooth sidewalks.

The Quest is great on bumpy sidewalks and uneven pavement. I use it as my outdoor stroller + it is fantastic!

Hi. If your baby is very young, under six months, the peg might be better, and if you can you should spring for the p3. The steering is so much better, and that is worth the extra money. Also, if you have an older child the peg perego is great because it has steps on the back for an older child to stand. Otherwise, I would go with the quest. It is a dream to push, very compact to fold and travel with, and my dd is very comfortable in hers. I have both, and I just like the fact that there is no bulk at all to the mac. Both are not great for surfaces that are not smooth. Hth.

I've heard, too, that Macs can be tippy - you can't put much on the handlebars without risking them tipping over backwards. I have not had that problem with our P3.
