Default ? about stroller recline

OK, this may be a stupid question, however why is it so important that a stroller for an infant under the age of 6 months have a full recline? I amdying to try my combi soho and mac techno out in a few months. Right now we are using the UCSC with the infant car seat (baby is 2 mo old). I guess the full recline doesn't seem important to me, b/c my baby HATES laying down flat, in fact we have the head of his crib propped up b/c I think he has reflux and usually he ends up sleeping in his swing or bouncy b/c he cannot stand to lay flat anyways.

Default RE: ? about stroller recline

While I understand the research and reasons for laying a baby flat, Colin also hated laying flat except to sleep. So even as a tiny infant, we had to prop him up in his stroller. That said, he's always been more comfortable in a stroller that supports him and keeps him from slumping. We had a Maclaren briefly that was horrible - very slumpy - and the Peg Perego Aria was bad, too.
