What size baby occupies it?
What Year/color? What do you like? Dislike? Would you buy it again? How are the wheels on uneven surfaces? Thank You! |

I had a 2002 Quest in Electric blue. I loved it.
The only thing I didn't like was the boring color. It steers like a dream, the handles are nice and soft, it's very light and it folds easily and small. The people riding in it were DD #3 (3 yrs) and occassionally DD#2 (6yrs) and DD #1 (7yrs). All of them were very comfy in it. I sold it and got a Vogue instead but the Quest was much nicer. I would buy it again if it came in nicer colors. Susann |

LOL Susann...that is SO my dilema right now. I want a red stroller! Their red is like rusty red. I don't absolutely care for the checked pattern in the 2004 either. I think I would probably get a 2003 in Iris, pistachio or denim.
Is the Iris purple or blue or periwinkle? Anyone know? The only thing around here is BRU and they only have one color of 2004. |

I have the 2003 Quest in Iris and I love it! The color is more of a periwinkle than a true blue or purple. While it's not a stroller I'd use for serious walking or off road, I do use it on bumpy sidewalks when I'm doing errands. My 10-month-old DS has been using it for about 6 months now, and I anticipate using it for as long as he's willing to ride in a stroller.
And yeah...Mac colors tend to be kinda boring, eh? If you have your heart set on red, maybe you'd like the new Silver Cross Mini or the Mac Triumph? Both come in red. I haven't seen the Silver Cross IRL but the new Triumphs are lovely. |

I have a 2003 Quest in pistachio. I love it and it has been the stoller I use the most (I keep it in my SUV). I have used it since DD was out of her infant carrier (snap and go) and she is currently 19 months. I use whenever I need a stroller away from home (the mall, travel/airports, walking around downtown, etc) because I don't like to lug the MBUD. I think the pistachio is a beautiful color (unisex). I love how the seat reclines back and how the seat can be extended so smaller kids can rest their legs out. I know others complain about the lack of basket space and cup holder but I am not a mall crawler so I don't miss either and DD doesn't know about a snack/toy tray so that wasn't a problem (doesn't know what she is missing). It steers like a dream (I can talk on a cell phone, hold a drink, and open a mall door all at the same time).
I would buy it again in a minute. The wheels fine on uneven services (like when we go shopping downtown...sidewalk cracks and curbs) but I would not use it for neighorhood walks (we don't have sidewalks and our streets are a mess). |

I have the 2003 Quest in denim. DD is 14 months and we have been using it since she was 5 months. I absolutely love this stroller. I use it as my everyday stroller and my teutonia mistral is for long walks and long outings all day at the zoo, fair etc. I think the wheels are fine on sidewalks and some cobblestones although I wouldn't use it on rugged terrain. Like everyone else has said it stears like a dream and I don't need a bigger basket or cupholder so it is defintely a great stroller for us. I would definitely buy it again.

"I can talk on a cell phone, hold a drink, and open a mall door all at the same time"
LOL! Thanks everyone! I have an M5 for when I need something for bumps. Ds actually calls it is "bumpity-bump stroller." I was just thinking that it seems I am often out with my car stroller and there will be cobblestone or a gravel garden path or something and I didn't want the quest if it would be absolutely impossible to steer on it. Thanks for your color opinions, too! |

I just got mine last week!
12 week old (with a snuzzler insert) 2004, pewter check LOVE the way it steers!! I can make it do figure 8s with one hand! I can pull it backwards through a door then swing it forwards with one hand!!! It is amazing. Love the lightness and how small it folds. Dislike--can't easily get to the basket when it's in full-recline. miss a cup-holder (but may buy one to put on it). Absolutely would buy again. Not fantastic on rough surfaces. It definitely is pretty bouncy on sidewalks because of the small wheels. Rory likes the bounce, though. I think you need to pay attention up and down curbs with it, too. I would use my jog stroller for walks outside, and this for anything else. |
