Default Could someone post pictures of a 2004 Mac Quest?

I'd like to see it from all angles, if possible. I've ordered one, but it's taking FOREVER to get here (going on five weeks). In the meantime, I have forgotten what it looks like IRL, and I'm second-guessing myself on having ordered one. I ordered the denim check, but would be happy to see a 2004 in any color. Thanks!

ETA Pictures

Denim Check is so pretty. That's what I have. And the Land's End Little Tripper in Blue Teal matches it perfectly!!! I'll post pics as soon as my little guy lets me.

Priscilla

I have included :

~A picture of my 32lb 3 1/2 year old for a size reference. Next to it is a 2002 Peg Perego Plikomatic

~A picture of the Lands End Little Tripper

Also note that the strap covers don't come with the Quest. I added those myself because the harness was scratchy at first.

Priscilla,

Thank you SO MUCH!!!! Your pictures are great, and just what I wanted/needed to see. Your daughter is precious, too! Is that a pouch on the back of the stroller hood? I didn't remember it having that, but even better if it does. Do you like your Quest and find it good for many situations? Thanks again!

I love my Quest. I'm so glad that I bought it. I bought it at babiesrus.com when they were having the coupon sale. I was looking for a travel stroller and extensively researched strollers. (that's sooo fun!) This is how I stumbled upon all of these forums on strollers and other baby things.

At first I felt guilty for spending so much on a lightweight stroller. So my dh and I took a drive out to Babies R Us thinking that we may exchange it for a Chicco, Eurotrend, or Triumph. But after trying all of those out, they just didn't compare to my Quest. It's the perfect lightweight, IMO. And the weight limit for the new 2004s is higher, 55lbs. (I think)

I finally acquired a NIB UK Vogue in Marie Claire (sooooo pretty) But I preferred my Quest over that, because to me, it didin't feel as loose, wobbly. I sold it and never used it.

One thing I dislike about the Quest is that it's tippy. My P3 is my full time/all day outing stroller, and I am used to hanging bags on the handles. You can with the Quest but you have to be careful because it will tip over.

My main rider is my 1 year old ds. He loves riding in the Quest. It's my short trip, tight space stroller. But it could EASILY be my only stroller. I can zip through any crowd with it! You will love it.

Why is it taking so long for you to receive it? I'm happy to have helped you remember why you bought it...lol

Yes, the pocket on the hood comes with the new 2004s. Perfect place to store keys.

HI, sorry to bother you but I have a question about the quest and the nearest store that carries it is 1/2 hour away. Does the stroller automatically lock closed when you fold it down or do you have to do another step to keep it closed? I really hope its locks shut because for an umbrella stroller I really want something that is as easy as possible. Thanks for your help.:)

No bother...I LOVE talking strollers! lol
Yes, the stroller has a lock on the side. You kind've fold it to the ground and there is a 6" plastic clip on the right side that latches it to lock it. There is a carry handle on the left side. The Quest also comes with a Rain Shield, too.

Great pics, Priscilla! What was it about the Triumph that made you prefer the Quest so much more?

I chose the Quest over the Triumph because of the leg rest extenders, deeper seat and I thought the Quest has more recline positions. Of course, in the back of my mind I thought, "The Quest costs more, so it must be better."

thanx Priscilla,
I guess I should have been more clear with my question. Does the Quest automatically lock itself shut when you close it or do you have to latch on the clip manually yourself? Thanks again.

Hi Chani,
It locks automatically when you close it.
