RE: Phil and Ted's Smart Buggy
I don't really get the advantages. It has two wheels in back and just pegs, no wheels, in the front. Is it a backpack/stroller combo? If so, I'm not sure that's a great advantage for their advertised situations of confronting stairs, public transport, etc. because it seems like it might take as much effort and almost as much room getting the stroller on your back as it would just carrying a regular stroller up some steps.
I know Kelty makes a backpack/stroller combo which some people like. A salesperson told me it is popular with couples traveling abroad to adopt, especially to China, where I guess it has some kind of advantage with portability. But right now, with a heavy 2 1/2 year old and #2 due in a month, I can't imagine slinging anything approaching the weight of a stroller with child on my back!
