Hello,
I'm still on the quest for the right SBS to hold DS and his sister in a few months. After many visits to the store, lots of research and reading various posts here, I'd decided on the Mac Twin Traveller b/c its very sturdy. I really like the MBUD also, but I don't think it will fit in my car easily. However, when I took DS to the store to sit in the Mac, he barely fit. He is now 15 mos, 28lbs and 32 inches tall. He fit pretty easily into the Twin Savvy--the seats are wider, it has a great fold and its lightweight, but I haven't heard many good things about it..breaks easily, Combi has bad customer service, etc. Does anyone have something good to say about this stroller, or are there suggestions for a different stroller? I haven't seen the E3 IRL, but if anyone knows where its carried in the NYC area, I'd like to take a look at it. Thanks! Heather, Mom to Isaiah 8/24/03 Baby #2 EDD 3/12/05 |

I love my Twin Savvy! I have a 3 year old and a 7 week old riding in mine. My 3 year old is very tall for her age and she still fits very well. Her legs are long so I have had to remind her to put her feet on the footrest. The canopies are great, with tons of headroom. The seats are the widest too. I have the 2004 model and think she fits better in this one than the 2003 I tried. The best thing is it steers so well! Even with the huge weight difference I can push and turn with one hand. For what it's worth I had the Twin Traveller and exchanged it for the Combi. There is also a huge weight difference in the two which mattered to me because I also have a MBUD and needed something more lightweight.
Hope that helps you!

Thank you. Do you put your baby in there with or without a carseat? I read someone's post who said they put a Snug Ride in one, but I know you're not "supposed" to. If I could do that, it would be great.

That was me! Yes, you can set it in there facing forward and it fits snugly. It's not made to do this but it does work in a pinch! :)

I LOVE the Twin Savvy. I have a four year old and an eighteen month old in it and it pushes like a dream. I have tried a million strollers, and I put this one at the top of the list with my Bugaboo. The fold is amazing. The baskets are the only bad part, they almost should not have bothered with them they are so lame! Mostly I push it with just the 18 month old in it, and the 4 YO walking, and it works well like that too. I also love that I can use half of the bumper bar. I put it where my 18 mo sits, and she likes to lean on it. My 4 yo wants in and out too much, so I just took off his side. it looks a little funny, but it works.
Yesterday my husband said my single strollers are a waste because I am now only using this one! Its been to the mall, through airports, on cobblestone sidewalks, etc. It is so lightweight that even though I can get away with just a single I don't mind pushing this just in case! |

I love mine! I got it about a month ago and it has already taken a trip to Disney and it performed beautifully. I bought mine to use with my 7 mo old twins, but my 2.5 yr old also fits well in it.
It is lightweight and folds pretty compactly and has 3 snack/drink holders on the (removable) napper bars. I do agree with the poster about the baskets, they are pretty useless. I highly recommend this stroller! |

Thanks so much, I've been worried b/c of all of the negative feedback I've read. At least I know there are people out there who have great things to say about it.

I had a single Combi Savvy DX stroller that I really liked, but I ended up selling it because I really wanted a stroller with an adjustable footrest. Does anyone miss not having adjustable footrests on the twin savvy? Has anyone found it to be a problem? Both of my single strollers that I use regularly have adjustable footrests and they are always up, but my SBS Graco DuoRider that I just sold didn't have adjustable footrests and even though I really wished it did, the kids didn't seem to mind.
