Default Valco strap question

I just received a 2004 Valco Twin. It's really nice, I love the red check and DS seemed very comfortable in it. He kept wanting me to sit in the empty seat next to him!

Can anyone explain how the strap works? I assume it's for when the stroller is folded. It's not mentioned in the instructions at all and was just in the box loose, so I'm not sure where it's suppose to go or how to use it.

Thanks!

Patty

Patty, Are you talking about the black straps, with like silver rings in them?
If so, they hook to a little piece on the stroller to keep it closed while folding.

No, but I think I know which part you're talking about and I was wondering what those metal things were for too. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks!

The strap I was wondering about is long, 2 or 3 feet.

The strap is about 3 feet long, has a sealed loop on one end, and a loop with a snap on the other end so that loop could open. Here's a picture of the strap-- hopefully the picture works, this is my first attempt at putting a photo on here.

That is the strap that you use for running. You hook it on to the handle and also around your wrist. If you are running and loose your balance or fall or something, the stroller cannot get away from you. This way, your DC are not in a runaway stroller!
I have not used my Valco for running yet, as it is WAY too cold here to take my babies out, but I do love it when we go to the mall. We always get lots of comments about it.
