Anne,
I just ordered a SC mini this afternoon. The 2005 Quests (haven't seen any other IRL) have a 4 position mechanical recline that functions when you use both hands and pull/push each side to adjust the angle of the seat. The SC recline works with a "string" on the back which you pull tighter or loosen up to adjust the angle of the seat. I believe the Quest reclines lower, though. If you'd like, post again in a few days and I'll know exactly how the SC works and will explain further. I should receive it by Friday. I'm not very good at explaining things so I HTH!
