Baby Proofing Companies

Has anyone used one? Do you think they are worth the expense? Does anyone have the name of a good one in the chicagoland area?

Safety Matters is in Chicagoland area. I haven't called them yet but they are supposed to be good. A friend has the name of a great handyman that does babyproofing as well. I could get you the name because I believe he is a lot less expensive but does an excellent job.
I am SO DREADING the babyproofing! I hate the look of gates.
A friend of ours never put up gates and never had a problem but I don't think I want to risk that!
