Default lazy susan?

How can I keep DD out of the lazy susan? (I am really regretting putting one in these days!) I don't blame her for being facinated with the spinny cabinet, but I don't want to have to clean it out!

Here's one lock for a lazy susan:

I don't know how well it works, but you might start with this.

Let us know if you figure something out because I'm having the same problem. Amelia's favorite thing to do is to get out the sugar sprinkles and sprinkle them everywhere, sigh.

I have the lock linked above. I think I got it at BRU or Home Depot. It works great!

I've read some bad reviews of the safety 1st lazy susan latch. Some people said it broke, others said it was difficult to open. Also, I had trouble installing it. Does anyone know of any other options for this? My son is finding all kinds of toys in mine.
