Default Need Help Installing drawer latches/locks

I bought those standard latches (screw in) that say they can be used on both cabinets and drawers. I had no problem installing them on the cabinets but I can't get them installed on the drawers.

There doesn't seem to be any way to screw them in with the drawer in place. I couldn't really manoever the screwdriver in such a tight space And, I when I screwed them in with the drawer out, I couldn't get the drawer back in (because the part you screw into the frame blocked the drawer).

I'm dealing with a narrow stack of drawers in the kitchen. Most of the drawers are very shallow. They have no handles so that limits some of my other options.

I do have a special screwdriver that can be bent to a 90 degree angle, maybe that would work??
