ok. i have done unto others. now when exactly do they begin to do unto me??? 'cause i really need some help these days and the offers have not yet started rolling in.
ETA small update: so today, while heavily medicated after a rather painful root canal, i called a preschool mom friend (who was worried about me when i came to pick up kids in horrid pain) and said i really needed some help. and she came rushing right over and sent me straight up for a nap and even did my dishes. He answers prayers. He does. :)

I'm sorry you're going through such a crappy time right now. If I could, I'd come watch your boys, clean your house (or whatever you needed), & bring lots & lots of ice cream. Really. I haven't responded to any of your recent posts but I've read them & commiserated. I totally get what you're going through. Hang in there, kiddo. No, you know what? I've got a plan. I'll ship Rachel off to you. She's a great babysitter, she's smart and guess what? She can drive! So, no more problems getting ice cream when needed.

do you know what TOTALLY helped today??? not only do you tell me that you think i am awesome, but my DENTIST told me that he LOVES working on me because... i am FUNNY.
he said, "i hate that you have to be in here (i was having a root canal! yikes!) but i have to be honest, i love working on you." and i asked, "why?" and he said, "'cause you are FUNNY." this is after i was lying back in the dentist chair with my feet sticking STRAIGHT up in the air because my knees were starting to ache from being in that weird dentist chair position for 2 hours. and i kicked the light. so thanks. to you all.
