Sorry, but I'm new to the whole parenting forum thing, and have been unable to find definitions in the FAQ or a serach here for the acronyms people are using (e.g. DD, DH, DS, SAHM, etc...)
Can anyone point me to some help? Thanks! Myk. |

I know there have been threads before, but here goes with what I can remember...
The D stands for dear, h=husband, s=son, d=daughter SAHM=stay at home mom Then there are SIL, MIL, FIL, BIL, etc., for Sister/mother/father/brother-in-law Sometimes it references brands: PP=peg perego or other stuff: bf=breastfeeding cio=cry it out (letting baby cry him/herself to sleep) lol=laugh out loud btw=by the way tia=thanks in advance This page has a lot of abbreviations: http://pages.ivillage.com/psboards/acronyms/ At first it seems like a code, but pretty soon it becomes second nature. HTH (oh, that means hope this helps...) |
