Default Confession : I ate a half bag of kettle corn (4 servings)...

and I swear I could easily eat the other half the bag. I went to whole foods this morning and discovered it. I swear this elimination diet is making me crazy. I'm depriving myself of so many things that when I find something good (and sweet - major sweet tooth) I'll eat the whole thing.

Anyone else do this kind of thing ever? Do you feel guilty if you are breastfeeding? I sure do, but apparently not guilty enough to make me stop!

I gorge on ice cream - at least 2 huge bowls a day! I figure the extra calcium only enhances my milk! ;-)

Do not feel guilty if you are breastfeeding! Remember, you are burning all of those extra calories! :-)

Oh, and the Easter candy is all on sale now. Run while there's still something left!

HALF a bag?! That's nothing. I was at the grocery store a couple days ago and saw that one of the microwave popcorn makers (I don't remember who now) is making "mini bags." What is up with that?! I'd have to pop TWO bags then! LOL

Popcorn, ice cream, you name it. I figured the ice cream helped with the calcium and the popcorn helped with the... um... roughage, if you know what I mean. Guilt? Sometimes. I think I lean too heavily on the idea that, "If I'm craving it, my body must NEED it" mentality that took over during pregnancy. What on earth my body could "need" from swedish fish, or dove chocolate is beyond me.

I have noticed every now and then recently thinking, "Ugh, I should eat better so that Ainsleigh won't suffer," and then I remember, "Hehe, she's weaned!" Back to the fine fare I call a meal...

LOL! Get back to me when you've had six tofutti cuties and strawberries with half a carton of cool whip!

I became addicted to Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies while BFing. At one point, I think I was eating 1/2 bag per day. Then, Girl Scout cookie time rolled around. How does a tube of Thin Mints sound? I didn't crave sweets while pregnant, but I sure have since BFing. Don't feel too bad about it. Eat something healthy too.

I'm totally cracking up! My best friend has been BFing her son for over 9 months and she says she's survived on ice cream and cookies for the past 9 months!

I admit that I eat A LOT of crap and use the excuse of BFing (and before that pregnancy).

Sigh. I want ice cream and cookies. For dairy-and-egg-free sweets, I turn to tofutti cuties, rice dream bars, junior mints, gummy bears, sorbet, fruit with cool whip, apple cake. Not all at once, although that's tempting. But there's a hot fudge sundae with my name on it whenever this girl weans!

Which of these are also soy & wheat free? Cool whip is dairy free? wow. i'd never have guessed. Same with junior mints & sorbet? Where do you find rice dream bars? I assume they are soy free?

Kettle corn, heh?

I'll need to check it out. I have been craving apple crisp and vanilla tofutti, fully convincing myself that I can have it for breakfast becasue it has oats(similar to oatmeal), apples, raisins, pears, cranberries (there's my fruit), and the tofutti is made out of tofu, so that's a protein right?

There you go - justification to the fullest. :p
