Avatar site, PictureTrail, says it's going to charge $$

I've had Logan's avatar on PictureTrail and they just sent me an email saying I'll have to pay about $20 to continue having his picture online. Do you know of any free sites that will host?

If he has a website, all you have to do is put the picture on the site and then enter that path into the avatar box here in your preferences. for example, if his site was www.jonathan.com, and you put his picture under a folder called images, the entire path might look something like (I deleted the first w so it doesn't show up as a link):

ww.jonathan.com/images/jonathan-avatar.jpg

Does that help? But if you do want it on my site, I can do that also. Just let me know.

I will ask him to do it this weekend. We have a lot of pictures he needs to upload onto Sophie's site, anyway.

Do you know why it has to be site based and not just off your hard drive like on other sites?

I'm not Tammy, but I can answer your question - other sites have you upload the image to their hard drive. It looks like it's just linked to your hard drive, but it's actually on theirs. That way the image will stil show up when you aren't online. Does that make sense?
