Default What cute thing is your baby doing this week?

We are watching American Idol, and Logan is totally singing along with George Huff. This is so cute. She has her hands up over her head and she is just belting it out. No recognizable words of course, but she is definitely singing. :)

The other night we were playing Monopoly and when someone would shake the dice in their hand, Logan would shake her hand, and when we moved the pieces on the board, she would tap her fingers on the table like she was doing it too.

Ryan is waving to people and he is learning to maneuvar his push walker around things instead of giving up. He is getting so fast on that walker we can't believe he doesn't fall more often! :)

Caleb's developed his OWN bedtime routine that is too cute. After we nurse he sit up and points to his crib. I lay him down and say a few sweet nothings to him and he points to his fave blankie (which he also just developed an attachment to, so it's pretty sute).. I cover him up and he kind smacks his lips and puckers to give me a kiss, then he points for me to go away!! This from the child I thought would NEVER not nurse to sleep! There can be no variation in the sequence either. I tried to kiss him before lying him down today and he pushed me away and pointed to the bed. I am getting a little control freak on my hands here!! It really is precious though!

Ryden has started spinning. He's been walking for quite some time, but I would say that he doesn't quite have the stability for spinning yet. He doesn't seem to mind though. He does it two ways. One is turning using both feet...this way he can go around a few times before losing his balance. The other way is to keep one foot planted and pivot with the other foot. This is where his balancing issues come into play. He keeps working at it though, with a complete serious look on his face, no smiles until he has completed what he thinks is a circle and then he claps and sort of does this bouncy dance move of his. I love the look of pride and joy on his face when he accomplishes something (or thinks he does)!

Payton is sucking in his cheeks and making the fishy face! He started doing it this weekend during solid feedings, and now he does it when he's concentrating on cruising around the couch :) He just laughs and laughs when we make the face back at him! I just wish I was quicker with the camera to catch that precious look...

It's been a big week at our house. Joseph learned to crawl (finally), play catch with a ball with daddy, pull up to a standing position and sit up from his tummy. He also does this thing where he has his bedtime bottle, finishes it and then smiles. It's so funny because it appears that he's asleep but he'll pick up his head and give me a huge smile and start humming. So cute.

Jack has started throwing tennis balls but for some reason he loudly kisses them first and they get tossed from his mouth. He then roars with laughter.
He has also started saying "Hi" to just about everyone he passes. It is funny to watch people who are completely absorbed in what they are doing all of a sudden look up and smile. He then gives a big ear to ear grin.

He's walking! Well, okay, he's been working on it for awhile now, but that is the reigning feat this week. He just keeps working at it, and is just now starting to speed up a little bit. It is great!

He also was so cute the other night. We had his kiddie pool upside down with a brick on it to keep it from flying away. It caved in a bit and caught a bunch of rainwater in it. He was running his hands through it and splashing around and the next thing I know, he starts to put his legs over the edge. I said, "Jacob..." and he looked at me, paused and then climbed right in! It wasn't even that warm out, but there he was, in all his clothes and shoes, splashing in the upside down pool of dirty rainwater! First thing I did was call DH to bring the camera! I love this kid!
