Help, DH messed up the computer!

Somehow, DH inadvertantly got our Internet home page set to some random search engine, and it has also installed some sort of toolbar and new 'favorites'...all very 'adult' oriented. I've tried everything I know to remove them, but they keep coming back! I've manually reset our home page, deleted the 'favorites' and taken the toolbar off, but they all return the next time we log on, even after restarting the computer. How can I get back to normal and get rid of all the objectionable material? I need computer help!
