Okay, Kath. You are completely cracking me up today! All the new toys they've come up with lately for kids -- and the winner is plain old masking tape. It's definitely coming with me next long car trip :).

Yep, we had a lovely poo experience once already too. I'd definitely like to prevent a repeat performance LOL. I think I may have to start using that 2 inch wide masking tape trick...:P

Wow, I am amazed that all your kids have done this. Is my DD behind or something? She is nearly 2 and we have never had a diaper incident (she has never even tried to take it off, much less played with the contents. She wears zipper pjs all the time and has never tried to unzip them (although unzipping my purse is a different story). Course now that I've said this, she'll probably do everything tomorrow. But is it weird that she has never done these things? She is a pretty active kid and lately has taken to drawing on every piece of paper she can find, so I think her eye hand coordination is good. Maybe she just isn't curious enough?

Your DD is completely normal! Definitely taking off a diaper and playing with its contents is NOT a milestone for which to strive :P!

To me, it's kind of like those kids that unravel entire rolls of toilet paper. While my DD has not done that yet, I count my blessings everyday that she hasn't learned how "fun" an activity that might be. And of course now that I've said that, she'll probably do that later this evening LOL.

Fun stuff, these toddlers, aren't they ;)?
