I just read TC's War of the Worlds' review

in our local paper - the movie has BOMB written all over it.

I am so torn. Love the War of the Worlds story and normally would definitely see this movie, but just hate TC too much to sit through a 2 hr movie of his right now!

I don't know...we don't see many movies in the theater, and the mixed reviews just don't have us jumping to get a baby sitter and go see this movie. I think the most recent movies we've seen in the theater are Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. A little further back, we saw Wings (the documentary about migrating birds--very excellent) and Finding Nemo. So we're pretty selective about which movies we see in the theater, and this probably won't be one of them.
