Maybe if we all post what our kids had for dinner, it will give us some new ideas! We're always looking for new ideas for meals.
Yesterday, Kayla had Ravioli (Buitoni makes a great refrigerated mini-raviloi.. $1.99 and makes 2-4 portions! Just boil water and drop in for a few minutes...until it floats.) Grilled chicken strips Raisins

Brig usually has pizza- all kinds. English Muffin, Boboli, Frozen.
Cadie eats mostly what we are eating. Or she eats Brig's leftovers. http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/crazy/1196.gif[/img] I do have frozen alphabet fries (all natural) on reserve for an emergency. http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/happy/077.gif[/img] |

Last night, we offered Ellie lasagna (homemade) and she ate none! Usually she'll have a little bit of what we are having or we fix her pizza (on bread, bagel, etc), small pieces of turkey and cheese, turkey hotdog (cut up in small pieces), scrambled eggs with cheese, or macaroni and cheese (I doctor a box of Annie's with a lot of milk and butter). She always has fruit (grapes, bananas, apples, pears, watermelon, or cantaloupe) with dinner, and I usually serve her pieces of tomato (loves tomatoes!).
Ellie has always eaten a big breakfast, moderate lunch, and little dinner. I think she looks at her plate at the end of the day, and thinks, "I'm finished with this chewing thing!" LOL! |

To my surprise DD had salmon with pesto, onion rice and broccoli. She loved the salmon. I did not think she would. I had to put some butter on the broccoli, otherwise she would not touch it.

He ate the chicken, potatoes, and asparagus that we were eating. He mostly ate the potatoes. Then he asked for cheese and kept chowing it down until I cut him off after his fourth slice.

He eats whatever we're eating. Ravioli last night, meatballs and mashed potatoes tonight.

What did I put on his plate, or what did he eat? Those are two totally different questions or answers!
What was on his plate: Mozzarella and garlic filled tortellini, breadstick, peas, and even some leftover mexican rice (which he usually loves) and his leftover chicken soft taco and a crunchy beef taco (heck, he passed on it at lunch, so I reheated and reserved). What he ate: the crunchy beef taco. That's it. I don't know why I bother to cook anything anymore. I sure as heck didn't enjoy the freakin'peas! |

Amy's organic pizza bites
A little bit of chicken breast Some mozzarella cheese some veggie bootie and a baby food jar of creamed spinach (Yes, I still rely on jars to get some veggies into DS sometimes!) These are all staples in our house. Sean also likes meatloaf, sweet potato fries, and nearly anything with ketchup. He won't eat hot dogs of any kind- turkey, beef, etc. Jerilyn DS, Sean 10/03 http://bd.lilypie.com/UB6Bm4/.png "Baby makes days shorter, nights longer, home happier, and love stronger." |
