DS--4 yrs--had 4 vaccines today (IPV, DtaP, MMR, and Hep A). He just woke from sleeping (he's been asleep for 3 hrs) and has a 102 fever. Is this normal with the vaccines? Should I be calling the Dr. tonight?
I don't recall either of my kids having fever with vaccines, or having a 102 fever, so I don't know if I should be concerned. Thanks!

I think DTP gives you a fever pretty soon. MMR is pretty delayed (like 1-2 weeks).
Should be fine. Is he okay today? BTW, Hep A? |

The fever did end up going down. He was crying off and on, so I slept with him. He's VERY irritable today, but no fever. I called the doctor, and they don't think he needs to be seen, but want me to call them if he doesn't improve.
Hepatitis A is require to attend school here now. He had his 2nd and last one yesterday. Thanks!
