let's keep count on how many MORE pieces of candy WE eat than the trick or treaters actually get...

It's not even 5 yet, so no TOTs and let's just say I have a small pile of wrappers next to the computer. I have zero self control - if it's in the house I eat it!

We must've had at least 75 kids - i've now cleared out my stash of snack size bags of pretzals, fruit snacks, granola bars and anything else i've come across in the pantry!

Of course, I could just pass out DS's candy....nah!

It was 10 degrees warmer here than normal so we got around 50 kids. It was the first year that I was afraid we were going to run out of candy.

We had a good turn out - about 100 kids by my estimate. The Playdoh was a big hit and not just with the pre-school set. :-) We do have a small bit of candy leftover.

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.
Excuse me, are you in a play?

Hmmmmm, pregnant, DD is in bed, trick or treaters have stopped coming, bowl full of bite-sized Caramilk bars within arms reach.....

Dangerous combination. :)

Love the PP suggestion about making up pre-made bags to leave out though. My DD is 2 1/2 so we both wanted to go trick or treating with her for a little while tonight. We left some candy in a bowl on our front step with a sign that read "honor system, help yourself to a few candies", but the premade bags would help 'portion' it out a little more evenly. My DD couldn't care less about the candy after all that, she's in love with her glow stick!
