Default Which is correct for a subtitle?

So I about to order the shutterfly book I made with the code from the bargain alert board and my DH and I have a little disagreement about the cover... Currently is says our DD's name and the phrase "January 2006- January 2007" under it and the just the dates appear on the spine. My DH says I need a comma between the month and year.?. I have looked all over the web and only found the use of the comma when a date (not just the month are used). But I was a math major in college for a reason --I can't spell and never remember grammar, punctuation rules to save my life. Give me a calculus proof anyday! So who is right?

Default RE: Which is correct for a subtitle?

You are correct. A comma is needed only when a date is specified. I am pretty sure Strunk and White and the Chicago Manual of Style would agree, but it may also be in the back of your dictionary if you have one around and need hard proof!
