Default Toddler Beds

My 21 month old is small but a climber so we need to purchase a toddler bed. Any advice on the different brand names? I saw the Lauren Toddler Bed by DaVinci that would suit us. Does anyone have any knowledge on DaVinci?

Default RE: Toddler Beds

To be honest I don't know anything about DaVinci beds (although they sound nice!). I have some advice though...my dd is a VERY small 2 year old and just starting to climb. Instead of spending money on a toddler bed which is only good for a year or so, we are simply going to buy a twin mattress/box spring set (baby #2 on the way so the crib mattress will be used) and put it on the floor. That way dd has less of a fall if she rolls out of bed and getting "trapped" in the rails of a toddler bed won't happen. Plus it saves money as we won't be buying yet another bed in a year!

Good luck in your search.
