Train Bargains?

My DS is very into trains, tunnels and bridges. Any ideas where to get either the Thomas or Brio trains at the best prices. (No room in our apartment for a table).

Also, am I correct in gathering that the Thomas and Brio trains and tracks are all interchangable?
