Default So, we are going to Sesame Place!

I am so excited about our pending trip to Sesame Place! We're going in late July as we make our way down for a longer vacation in the Outer Banks.

We'll be arriving in the afternoon, and plan to use our tickets that day and all the following day, since we won't be back this season to use up the second day, otherwise.

If you have any pointers on how to make our visit to the park go smoothly, please let me know!

So excited!

Default RE: So, we are going to Sesame Place!

We went two years ago, so I don't know if things have changed.
Definitely do the character dinner. Do it both nights.
The first night, my son was freaked out by the giant characters. It took him a while to warm up to them. The character breakfast I would skip. I remember the food being awful.

Definitely be prepared for water rides all day. But bring something to keep warm in the Elmo show which is indoors and may be cold if you're coming out of the water.

There are lockers you can rent for all your swimming stuff and change of clothes. I think you can rent strollers too.

Have fun.
