Default Wool pants/ review and pics/ and 1000th post! ;)

Well, Jonah has these pants on today, and so I decided to finally take some pictures. I have been meaning to do this for awhile, as these have become one of our favorite diaper items.

These are the reversible wool pants from Patchwork Pixie. I LOVE these!! I gave Meagan Jonah's measurements and she made them exactly how I wanted them...they fit great, but there is room for growth. I love the colors...chocolate brown, and the other side is cranberry red. It is so neat how they are reversible, with two layers of wool, but they aren't too thick or bulky. They just look like some cute little pants!

I love our knitted longies, but these are even more low maintenance. Plus I don't have to worry about him catching the pants on something and pulling out some yarn. These seem very "toddler proof", he has crawled around in them, rolled, fell down, and all sorts of other crazy manuevers.

Here's some photos....wanted to show you how well these fit, and also to shamelessly share Jonah photos! ;)

I had to bribe him with crackers, toys, etc...just to get these photos, so they aren't the best. I tried to get a few good angles of the pants, as well as the colors.

Also, this is (finally) my 1000th post! I like that it is here in Butts, where I have spent a TON of time reading, if not always posting. :)

Congratulations on the 1000th post. I look forward to the next 1000. I disagree with you, I think the pictures are great. I really like the last one of Jonah's sweet smile.

Also, the pants are fantastic. I am impressed with how trim fitting they look given that they are two layers. Love them!

He is soooo cute Jen!!! I love the pants! You are right, they just look like regular pants. The sweater is adorable too.

Congrats on 1000! I know I am happy that you're around!!!

Default Jen--question about dappi covers

Or anyone, I guess... I looked at BRU today but didn't see any under the "Dappi" brand. I grabbed the Especially for Baby kind; they are nylon taffeta with elastic waist and legs. Is this the same thing? The only other kind they had was Gerber.

Thanks!

Yes, the especially for baby brand is the same...and they are better if you ask me...and cheaper too!

What sizes did they have at your BRU? My store said that they were discontinuing the large and XL.....:( I guess they probably don't sell too many.

I think they would be great for newborns too...over CPFs...Did you get them for Gracie or the new baby?

I have bought some Dappi ones on ebay, from granitesmith. I've never seen them in a store.

HTH!!

BTW, she stocks them at www.middayfaire.com pretty frequently. That is where I bought mine. :)

They had large (what I got--25 to 31 lbs) and toddler (32-35 lbs), which I assume is XL. Do you want me to grab you some?

Jen, those are great pictures! He's so cute and I agree that those pants don't look like they could be two layers. Definitely a trim fit . Plus it looks like he has plenty of room to grow into them, much like the sweater (which I love, by the way!).

Congratulations on making it to 1000 and welcome to the club! Here's to a thousand more. :)
