The nylon covers are good for the summer and the you can either go to BRU and get their Especially for Baby brand (very cheap) or you can get a Bummis Whisper Pull-on pants--I think LilBunz sells them, or maybe NaturalBabies.

Oh, and I haven't had compression wicking with the Angeldry wool interlock cover, but I have had it with the Stacinator stretch. With wool soakers, I sometimes do and sometimes don't get the compression wicking (depending on how much she's wet and how long she's been in the car seat). I'm suspecting I might not get as much with a crocheted wool soaker.

Walmart sells the gerber brand 6 for 4.98. I was just checking out who had what in my area.

Indeed, the Gerber ones are really cheap, but beware of the binding material used around the tighs and waist. I found it to be rather scratchy and also, they are made of 100% vinyl. Don't know if that is the same as 100% nylon in terms of breathability. I really like Dappi covers. They are very similar to Bummis whisper pants and much cheaper - 2 for $4.99 at my local Buy Buy Baby. My all time favorite nylon cover though is by Babykins. I like them better than Bummis and Dappi because they are the softest, thinnest of them all. It's almost like wearing no cover at all. HTH.

If you are getting a stretch wool interlock cover from Angelwraps, those suckers are bomb proof! I think they would be pretty immune to compression wicking, barring any catastrophes. I got Bummi's whisper pants from www.lilbunz.com They run big!

Ummmm- Tarah - did you mean AngelDry or Angelwrap?

We LOVE our AngelDry stuff - Steph even converted her wool jersey cover to a WIO for me. Dirt cheap for a WIO. So now we have a wool interlock cover, a fleece cover and a WIO. And I'll get more if I can sell off some other stuff and get some Paypal funds.

I like the ones at www.weebees.com (sidesnapping). Sometimes Yvonne has some Alexis ones at www.orangestarfish.com. I have found Dappi/Especially For Baby NYLON pull-ons at BRU. They are nylon and pretty nice, don't get the vinyl Gerber ones.

The Bummis whisper pants are awesome and very reasonable. Not sure who has them now; I got mine a long time ago at www.punkinbutt.com. HTH!

I also like the Zippidy side snaps - like the old alexis side snaps, plus with softer binding (like the dappi) and plastic snaps.
I cannot for the life of me remember where I got them (I got them 4 yrs ago and just found them in my stash boxes!)- I'm all excited I can use them again!

Aha! This is where I got them:

Make sure they are nylon and not vinyl and you will be fine in the summer. I have some alexis pull on nylon covers from ebay (I got them pretty cheap too!) and they are great. I've never, ever had a leak with these, even runny poo and never had any carseat compression problems. They hold up pretty well in the wash too! granitesmith on ebay sells them, I think she is the only one that still does because from my understanding they are discontinued but I could be wrong. I bought mine a year ago.
