Default Tykie Fluff Show and Tell

Just when we needed something to smile about during a bout with croup, we got wonderful fluffy mail from Tykie.

Five large side snap OC, 1 "xs" -- review to follow in a separate post.

I asked Ann to custom make me a diaper suitable for night time for my medium wetter. This diaper has 2 doublers, one that snaps in front, the other snaps in back:

Spoiler alert! I don't usually show the Tykie "surprise," but I just love the coordination of the surprises on the two doublers for this night diaper.

DD is feeling great today and now we're just waiting for these to dry so she can try them out.

Thanks for indulging me in my fluff-fest.

Oh yay! I'm so glad DD is feeling better--I've been thinking about the two of you! Nothing like fluff to make you feel better. :) Kaya has that Curious George diaper, and it's great, although we don't use it that much these days because it's side snapping. Still, it fits her great! I actually covet your Nemo diaper, though--I'm not much for commercial prints, but I just love that movie and those fish are cute! :)

If I ever get my act together, I'll take pictures of Kaya's Tykie fluff (dress, hat, and fleece cover). :)

ETA: Okay, is the XS for her doll or do you know something we don't? ;)

I'm glad your DD is starting to feel a little better! And the new dipes look super fun. I am curious too about the XS review to follow, hmmmm.

Thanks! We're glad she's feeling better, too. It's amazing how she can be in a "hold me, hold me" mood and feeling lousy one day, and then tearing around the house playing and dancing on the next. I wish *I* could recover that quickly! :)

DD has a different Curoius George print already, but she's really into monkeys right now, and I loved the print on Kaya's CG diaper, that I rationalized myself into buying the other CG print.

Speaking of rationalization, I had decided that since DD is probably getting close to potty training that it's risky for me to order a bunch of new diapers -- figuring that the Murphy's Law of diapering would say that if I custom order a ton of girly fitteds, DD will potty learn the day before they arrive and that any future baby will turn out to be a boy just so we'll never get to use them.

So, I made myself a rule that any diapers I order from now on should be gender neutral. This works with the Nemo, the bugs, the CG and the plain OC, but I just couldn't resist that blue flowers print. I almost ordered that one the first time I ordered Tykies. So I rationalized: DD loves dragonflies, and doesn't she *deserve* this one special diaper that has dragonflies on it? Why should she be penalized because some future sibling might turn out to be a boy?

About the XS, you can read the review now. :P I would have posted it earlier, but I had to get DD to bed. And now I have to get me to bed -- got a lot of lost sleep over the past few days to catch up on.

OOh, cute diapers!! You're making me want to shop! I have the Curious George print too on a diaper except ours in a Mudpies. It's really cute.
