Default How do you guys stay on top of hyenacart listings? (and a pocket question)

Seriously, I am really starting to need mediums, and I can't get any! Since I bought my small stash, cherrybombs (my favorites - side snappers), bijou (a close 2nd) and loveybums have been totally sold out (I did get one loveybum last week) and I've missed all of custom slots. I really want about 12 more mediums. We are just not destined to use prefolds - we've used about 4 out of 24 - so they are going to end up as dustrags for the cleaning lady, I guess.

I did get 6 fuzzibunz, which are WONDERFUL for nighttime, and I have 6 Sam's fitteds (they are just SO bulky on her still).

Do you look at the calendar and then make a chart? I belong to a bunch of the yahoo groups, but I'm just not in front of my email often enough to catch them. Do you just peruse all of hyenacart? I must not be doing it correctly.

Another question - I am really happy with our first pockets - I think I may like them more than the fitted/cover route, particularly for nighttime. Are there any other ones I should look into? I just have some fuzzibunz from lil bunz. I wish they were more WAHM-y since I like supporting those sellers.

There are some BBG SS in medium available now on hyena cart!

I've just been lucky so far, I guess. I ordered my loveybums before DS was born. Same with our Mutts. (Have you tried these?) I knew about the last BBG stocking and made sure I went online that morning to order. I do know that when I really wanted a certain wool cover last fall, I checked the seller's hyena cart every day (sometimes more than once a day) until she stocked!

I've also liked our pockets. We have a couple of FB. I love our new BumGenius. I also really like the Rumpsters AIO that we just got. It's super trim and washes & dries easily because it has flaps. I really like that I don't have to remember to pull out an insert when it's dirty. I think I'll end up getting a few more of these.

Yes, there are four medium sidesnappers in the Bijou hyenacart right now!! Grab them all!

I watch the stocking calendar and check on what is coming up the next day (most stores list their items as a preview a day or more in advance).

Take a look at the BumGenius pocket. Just got some yesterday, and Logan is wearing one right now. It seems to have a lot of potential! We've also used FBs and Baby Blanket pockets with Colin (we did exclusively pockets for a long time, too).

ETA: Try sugarplumbaby, too - I believe that she has some instock. Just note that this is a new owner; I don't know if she changed the dipes much. And if you see a chance to try some bamboo, I highly recommend it!!

We don't use pockets much, but I have two Harleyz pockets from Whamarama on hyenacart. I have side snapping PUL, and our nighttime dipes are mostly Harleyz hemp pockets, sidesnapping and front applix. I really like these. Looks like she's got customs in both PUL and hemp available.

Snap-EZ are other WHAM pockets, but I think they are very wide in the crotch. www.snap-ez.com

Jamie at Bijou Baby Gear is really nice, too, so if you email her and explain your situation, she might be able to help you out. Those 4 mediums are still sitting there, Tara! Go get them!

Default Thanks! Got them!

I'm so excited! Hopefully she'll be able to squeeze me in for a few front snappers too. I could really use a bunch of dipes since it takes me like 3 days to get them all washed and dried.

Off to check out the other pockets!

For pocket diapers, I love the ones from the threaded branch. They are totally bombproof and Karrie is great to work with. She doesn't have much in stock right now, but I just emailed her and she is going to make me a bunch this week for my trip next week. So if you need pockets, those are my favs-reasonably priced too.
