All these cut pics of dipes/soakers/longies/shorties makes me want to try my hand at making some. I'm not so hot at knitting (I only recently learned and am not that great at it), but I can crochet with my eyes closed (thanks Gram). I did a google search, and literally every pattern I came across either was missing a URL or was no longer running. I found one, but it cost money and, honestly, we don't have it to spend (see my FS list on swap if you don't believ me).
Anyone know of a free pattern anywhere?

I've been looking too because my mom said she'd like to make something for the baby, and she's a whiz with a crochet hook. I found this:

An easy free knit pattern is Tiny Birds. It's knit flat and a good first knit soaker project.
http://www.birdcrossstitch.com/soakers/pattern/ scroll down to pattern. There is a yahoo group for wool soakers that has patterns in it's files. The members are very helpful and a least half of the active ones crochet and lots of members are like me and both knit and crochet. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wool_s...guid=160221079
