Our baby boy has arrived!
The entire birth experience was wonderful. I was induced at 1pm due to elevating blood pressure, at which time I was already 3cm. At 4pm I got an epidural and never felt contractions again. By 8pm I was a good 5cm, and by 10pm I was a full 10cm. I started pushing at 10pm and he was born 29 mins later. No stitches, rips or cuts required.
My only discomfort right now are my swollen feet that will not go down. Other than that, I feel fine. My doctor was wonderful and there by my side 90% of the time. TJ's absolutely beautiful and I'm madly in love with him! I'm going on no sleep since Thursday so have to run, I will catch up with you all in the weeks to come once we all get settled in. Just want to thank everyone for all the help and guidance you've given me along the way!

I'm so happy for you. Your little boy almost shares Nathan's birthday. I'm glad I logged on here before calling you to see how you were. I'll let you get some much needed sleep and then call and check in on you. I'm so glad your little miracle is here and is safe.

Yay! Congratulations, Mare! And welcome baby TJ. I'm so glad to hear your birth experience went so well. And the swollen feet will go down--it sometimes takes a few days to a week.
