Claire Elizabeth arrived on Saturday night!
Claire made her debut at 10:20 pm weighing 7 lbs 11 oz. She was 19 1/2 inches long.
Thank you to those of you who offered your thoughts about D.O. vs. M.D. It was the D.O who delivered Claire and she was fantastic. (She wasn't quite as good as my beloved OB, but she's a hard act to follow. :) ) I'll try to attach a picture, but this is my first attempt, and I'm way beyond sleep deprived. :)

Karen!!!! Congratulations! I have been wondering how things were going for you since I hadn't seen you on lately and I knew you were getting really close. I was hoping those early contractions would lead to something and *YEA* they did. She looks just perfect and I am so happy for you.
