Default Carrier? Sling? Help!

I've loved carrying our son around in the Baby Bjorn, but at 22 pounds, he's just getting too heavy for it. I have a padded sling (OTSBH), but it just doesn't do it for me. I'm torn now between the Kangaroo Korner adjustable fleece pouch & the Walking Rock Farm Hip Carrier. I'm also curious about the Ultimate Baby Wrap. I plan to use it primarily for errands and around the house.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance:)

A pouch.

I'm not a fan of devices solely made as a hip carrier, because I think they pull on your shoulder much more than other types.

I like stretchy wraps, like the Hug a Bub and the UBW, but it's been my experience that with a larger child, they just don't cut it, and stretch out easily, requiring frequent adjusting.

A pouch or a ring sling would serve you well......

Here's my review on the WRF-type hip carriers:

I would definitely recommend a pouch over a hip carrier. It will be so much more comfortable for you!! Colin is almost 21lbs and I love our M&MC hemp pouch and our Zolo (ring sling).
