Any news on an ella-bag co-op?

I really want to get one... Is there any news on the ever elusive co-op?

I think the person who organized the original co-op received sub-par bags and customer service from Ella. (Along with me and several other people who ordered bags during the co-op...) I doubt she'll be organizing one again, KWIM? But I am definitely not speaking for her, just trying to answer your question.

As someone who's had both an Ella and a Whimsical Wears bag, I'd hands down pick the WW. They are essentially the same style of bag except WW has better quality materials, workmanship, and customer service. And a better price.

There is one on the horizon. There are a few people that want to help organize it so you should be hearing about it soon from one of them. :)

Aimee is ready to do one but we had so much going on with the WW coop that I thought it was too confusing to have them at the same time. Ella was also opening their new storefront but I guess things have eased up on the workload so a coop is in the works shortly.

Is the WW co-op still going on?
It looks the same to me, so I don't mind ordering that instead!

Sorry - the WW co-op ended on April 21. There may be another co-op in the late summer ...

I'm with Anna...I stood my Ella Elaine next to my WW 3 Peas and the WW was by far much nicer, and Kim is wonderful to work with. JMO though...many people love their Ella's.

Woo-hoo! I'm so ready for a bag for errand running sans kiddos- esp. one with metal feet on the bottom, so my fabric doesn't get dirty; We finally took the Ella backpack out on Sunday (it's been too springy, IMO, to use before now) and people were loving its originality. Sounds like it's time for another ;)
