My son is 14 months old, and his poop is soft most of the time, not like adult poop. He eats table food not too different from us (his parents). What is the normal range of consistency for a toddler that age? His pediatrician does not seem concerned (not liquidy, therefore no diarrhea).
Thanks. Stefani. |

Well, my son is 12 months old and also on table food full time. He has either softer poop or is constipated. It sounds gross, but the consistency is probably fine, it just gets sqished in his diaper and looks like a cow patty:) Right? I think your son is fine:)

Thanks for your input. Sometimes it does look like cow patty :-), sometimes it is softer even, occasionally it is pellety (like adults' :-) Yeah, I guess I stop worrying so much now. Someone also mentions that the young digestive track just needs time to get adjusted. Thanks.
