Does the discount not apply if the item is not sold by Amazon? I'm just annoyed because I'm not getting nearly the discount I was expecting. I assumed that since I'm buying an item through Amazon(even if it's shipped from ABCtoys for example), I'd be getting the 25% discount. My total is around $185 and my discount is only $24. I'm guessing that this is the case but I figured I'd check here before placing my order. Thanks!

Yes, only items sold by Amazon qualify. That's kind of why I was hoping someone might want to trade for my TRU WC! Wishful thinking, but I know I had trouble spending my Huggies GC when I could only buy "Amazon" stuff. An awful lot of their stuff seems to come from other sites/shippers.

Thank you for clearing that up for me! Ugh, I'm just soooo annoyed by this though. I don't know, I guess I was just being dumb about it. I just assumed since it's an Amazon discount code, that anything sold ON AMAZON would be discounted. I didn't realize that other vendors sell through Amazon. I was excited to get a little discount on some Tsukihoshi shoes for DS that I've been wanting to try. :( Of course, the more expensive items in my cart are sold by someone other than them. I know I could make $ selling my code on the Fatwallet board but I don't think I can bring myself to do it since I paid nothing for it. I need to stop whining and be happy that I'm even able to have a nice Christmas with my family, right? All right, I'm done whining. :)

I finally started searching with only Amazon as a seller. That way I didn't get too excited about things I couldn't have. There were a lot of gifts I was bummed I couldn't get, but I did find some things that worked out. I was glad to be able to get Robeez, most toys, and a Nintendo DS for my little bro.

You know, I TOTALLY would have traded with you after realizing this but I ended up winning a TRU discount a couple of days ago. :( Of course, I already made my big purchase there so I'm hoping I can get them to apply it to last week's purchase. I'll talk to DH and make sure there's nothing he wants from Amazon that we would get a significant discount on.(nothing that I know of) Let me know if you're looking to buy something from them that would yield a large discount. :)

That's a very sweet offer. But I finally decided that if I didn't get it, there was really nothing I needed (now just get me to agree to that for the TRU, BB&B, and Best Buy ones I have too!). I'm thinking I'm going to give those away to family because otherwise I'm just spending money to save money. Of course I do that a lot!

I'm also hoping my Dad might give us Amazon gift certificates for the holidays and that would be 100% off!

Good luck finding stuff. That's a good idea the PP had to search only on stuff Amazon has so you don't get tempted by the rest.
